Fanime is almost upon us. So, we’re gonna catch up with some of our crew and find out what they’re up to. On today’s episode, Francis and Dennis discuss their plans and more. Durarara!! Photoshoot in Downtown LA

Hey guys, this is Aaron. I just recently finished editing photos from a shoot I took a few weeks ago with some incredible cosplayers. Some of them I have had the pleasure of working with before and some that I would be working with for the first time. This was a Durarara!! photoshoot that was organized by It’s Itsuka who is a great Southern California cosplayer. The setting for the shoot was an urban city just like the one in Durara!! Lucky enough, most of us lived near Los Angeles so we were able to use Downtown LA as the background. As usual, it was fun taking all these pictures of these wonderful cosplayers. Here are a few of my favorites:

Episode 39 – Kamisama Goes to Conji

Episode 37 – Better Than the Mall

So many conventions, and not enough time. In the first part of our Easter Weekend convention coverage, here we have a recap of Wonder Con. Lots of spending, and especially lots of cosplay. There’s the return of talking about food and food trucks, along with our trek to finally experience Slaters 50/50. And we have a new segment about the things we (mostly Dennis) bought at the conveion which we’re calling Convention Haul. And it seemed that our Avatar cosplays were a big hit! Sword Art Online Photshoot

Hey Guys,

This is Aaron, and it’s is my first time posting on the site. I’m pretty sure you guys have seen me in cosplay throughout the years, wearing my Sentoumaru, Bepo, and Alvida cosplay. As you can see I’m really into cosplay and One Piece. But, lately I’ve been more focused on the photography side of cosplay. Last year I upgraded my camera from a normal point and shoot Samsung to a Canon DSLR. I have been wanting to do that for years, but only last year was I finally able to save up some money and buy one. I upgraded because I wanted to showcase the cosplayers I took pictures of. There are so many wonderful cosplayers with such elaborate costumes that my old point and shoot camera could not do them justice. But, I am still new to the photography, and there is still so much for me to learn. Today, I will be showcasing the Sword Art Online shoot. This happened two weeks after Anime Los Angeles. I was able to work with four amazing cosplayers: Hedemi as Kirito, Akai-Chan as Asuna, JesterLabyrinth as Leafa, and Itsuka as Silica. They, along with other photographers, spent a whole day being photographed at the park. We had a lot of fun taking these pictures, so I hope you guys enjoy them. Here are a few of my favorites:
